Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
One of the greatest blessings I have the pleasure of receiving is comforting, listening, and praying with parishioners as they face many of life's struggles and challenges. These struggles and challenges can be small or big, life threatening, relationship struggles...it doesn't matter...they are struggles for them at the time and for the people of God here at All Saints and I have been called to serve you.
This past week I had the opportunity to sit with some folks who brought their struggles, their vulnerability, their hopes and their dreams. We talked, I listened, we shared our vulnerability and then we entered the sanctuary, our All Saints Holy Space, and we prayed together at the rail where we receive Christ's Body and Blood every Sunday.
It was an opportunity to experience God in an intimate way with others, which is what we are called to do as the community of Christ. May we all experience Christ through others for only we recognize and accept Christ in others will we truly experience the love of our Risen Lord!
By the way...their prayers were answered! Alleluia!
See ya Sunday!
