HOLY WEEK IS UPON US! I hope you can join us for as many of our worship services as possible. They include:

* PALM SUNDAY, MARCH 28: During both the 8 and 10:30 services we will celebrate the Liturgy of the Palms and read the Passion Gospel. PLEASE NOTE: the 10:30 service will begin IN THE PARISH HALL. For those who do not want to process, you may take your seat in the pew as normal. The ushers will have palms for you.

* HOLY EUCHARIST WITH THE GREAT LITANY: On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 7a, we will celebrate the Holy Eucharist with a said Great Litany. The service will be simple and should end by 7:30. A wonderful way to start the day and delve into Holy Week.

* MAUNDY THURSDAY, APRIL 1: We begin the great “Paschal Triduum” with Maundy Thursday Holy Eucharist and Foot Washing. After the service, we will enjoy an Agape Supper in the Parish Hall before going back to the church for the stripping and washing of the altar and the beginning of the Prayer Vigil at the Altar of Repose.

* GOOD FRIDAY, APRIL 2: We observe Good Friday with two services, the Prayer Book Liturgy with the Veneration of the Cross and Communion from the Reserve Sacrament at 12 noon and the Stations of the Cross at 7p. The Rite of Reconciliation is available all day.

* HOLY SATURDAY, APRIL 3: We turn toward the tomb with the Holy Saturday Liturgy (a very brief, simple service without Communion) at 7a and then discover that the tomb is empty at the Great Vigil of Easter at 7p with the New Fire, Exultet, Renewal of Baptismal Vows, and Holy Eucharist. Our Lenten fast is broken after the Vigil with a chocolate and champagne reception in the Parish Hall.

* EASTER SUNDAY, APRIL 4: Holy Week concludes with the greatest feast of the year, the Feast of the Resurrection, Easter Sunday. We pull out all the stops with Rite I and instrumental music at 8 and the Saintly Ringers, guest instrumentalists, incense, and sung Eucharist at 10:30.
